Manchester United inched closer to the title with a 2-1 victory over Arsenal . The match was an exciting one with both the teams deadlocked at 0-0 at half time . The second half however saw the emergence of Arsenal with a goal in 48th minute which Adebayor scored with his hand and the referre failed to notice it . Soon after that like the last match Arsenal conceded a penalty this time due to a handball from Gallas and Cristiano Ronaldo made no mistake in converting his penalty into a goal . It was his 38th goal of the season in 41 games ,, Wat an amazing record it is . Then SAF brought in Anderson and Tevez and Manchester United started dominating the game . The turning point of the game was Owen Hargreaves free kick which took Lehman stunning in the 70th minute. Manchester United kept their cool to win the match 2-1 . Eventhough Manchester United won the game the absence of Vidic was felt as the defence was floppy in certain places
